Serenity Pre-Screening Winners

I would like to thank you all for your kind words of encouragement in my little rebellion against the eBay Alliance of ticket scalpers. Many of you not only took the time to enter this giveaway, you took the time to share your stories and your love of Firefly. The only thing I can say is that I wish I had tickets for each and every one of you.

Through this giveaway, I’ve talked to friends willing to drive halfway across the country to share this screening with each other. I’ve talked to spouses desperately wanting to surprise each other (many not knowing the other had already entered on their behalf). I’ve talked to fans that will be out of the country when the movie premieres, friends entering with the hope of surprising a disappointed fan. And that, as they say, is just the tip of the iceberg. This contest has had over one hundred entries, including one from outside the country.

Before I get to the business of naming the lucky few, I would like to say one last thing. If there should be a forth screening, and you find yourself lucky enough to get tickets, pick up a couple extra and help your fellow browncoats out. Trust me when I say that you’ll find it a rewarding experience.
